Community Engagement * Organize and coordinate multi-faceted community outreach programs and health-related events * Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, non-profit organizations and other stakeholders and groups * Represent NAH at community events, meetings and conferences. * Create relationships with community members, becoming a positive and friendly presence who is associated with the NAH brand |
Communications * Develop and distribute internal and external communications about community initiatives * Manage social media content related to community engagement * In conjunction with Public Relations Specialist and Marketing Manager, work with media outlets to highlight community partnerships, draft news releases, build relationships with media partners * Contribute to NAH Communications goals and objectives |
Program Management * Collaborate with NAH Office of Philanthropy, Employee Experience, Medical Staff Services, Health Equity, Population Health, and others to plan and manage NAH’s community presence * Promote colleague engagement with the community * Create and manage appealing event tables including appropriate promotional and educational items, activities and subject matter experts as needed * Supervise direct reports in community engagement activities |
Strategic Planning * Contribute to the development of community relations strategies aligned with organizational goals * Identify opportunities for community partnerships and collaborations * Monitor and report on the impact of community relations activities, including those conducted by other NAH departments |
Compliance/Safety * Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner. * Maintains confidentiality of all department, patient, and employee matters. * Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training within the specified time frame. * Stays current and complies company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility. |
