Responsibilities * Demonstrates and maintains depth and breadth of knowledge, skills, and competence in nursing specialty * Serves as a consultant for education requests within NAH * Researches, recommends, and facilitates nursing specialty education for nurse residents, nurse interns, and/or any other program for new to specialty nurses * Analyzes and validates educational needs and competencies * Develops and initiates training programs that facilitate achievement of clinical care competency goals * Participates in the development of standards of practice using the most current evidence * Implements nursing education processes that enhance knowledge, skills, and attitudes for safe, competent, and effective nursing practice * Evaluates practice in relation to standards, guidelines, statutes, rules, and regulations to achieve professional goals * Utilizes experience and professional judgment to problem solve, plan, and accomplish goals * Performs other related duties as assigned * Completes mandatory training requirements * Meets various age-specific needs |

Compliance/Safety * Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employees area of responsibility. * If required for position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates. * Completes all company mandatory modules and required job specific training in the specified time frame. * Responsible for reporting any safety related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner. |
Graduate degree or completion date within 3 years if hired after August 1st 2024 (If graduate degree is not in nursing, it must be in a related field and a
BSN is required)
BSN within 3 years if hired prior to August 1st 2024 to be completed by July 1st 2027
BSN not required if you have a MSN
Current RN License
National nurse professional board certification or attainment within 1 year of hire
A minimum of 2 years experience in clinical nursing practice required
