Certification & Licensures

  • Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician Trainee License – Required

Responsibilities

Job/Training Information

 

Technician trainee will spend 4-6 weeks training in central pharmacy and delivery shifts to be able to work these shifts independently.

Technician trainees will be scheduled sufficient paid training hours to complete the didactic portion of training within the allotted time. Scheduled training hours will vary based on location and needs of the department.

As the technicians complete training sections such as non-sterile compounding, they would be able to have hands on experience with oversight by certified technicians/pharmacists.
