We are seeking an experienced RN leader to join our medical group to focus on clinical excellence. Overseeing RNs, nurse and medical assistant policies and training, quality improvement, and education, you will join our team of high-quality professionals who chose to join NAH.

ADN with BSN required within 3 years
Certification & Licensures
Arizona RN License or ability to be Licensed

* Oversees the nurse and medical assistant training, orientation and competency process for the medical group.
* Establishes and maintains mutual trust and respect with colleagues, providers, and leaders.
* Promotes an environment that motivates, nurtures and empowers colleagues. Works to maintain positive inter-departmental relations.
* Works with colleagues to facilitate and achieve skill, educational and performance goals.
* Assist colleagues in developing plans outlining improvement process when needed.
Colleague Development
* Delegates tasks/projects to colleagues and demonstrates appropriate follow-up to ensure desired outcomes. Specifically assigns the monitoring of equipment and supplies.
* Utilizes objective criteria to assess the aptitude of colleagues wishing to serve as mentors and preceptors. Assigns colleagues based on their ability to perform in a leadership/mentor role.
* Leads quality improvement initiatives utilizing organizational tools and resources.
* Has a reputation for managing a quality department as demonstrated by quality measurements such as Patient Experience, physician satisfaction, and colleague engagement survey.
* Maintains high visibility in the department, providing colleagues opportunity to interact with a manager during colleague’s regular work hours. Demonstrates a willingness to discuss issues with colleagues during their worked hours.
* Occasionally may need to take a patient assignment.
Education
* Participates in creating and sustaining a learning environment supported by evidenced-based practice and research.
* Focuses on personal development areas, engaging in professional/collegial interactions with peers and students.
* Work collaboratively with peers and other healthcare providers, and participating in ongoing in-service and educational seminars.
* Participates in the mentoring and education of colleagues and students. Assists with providing training for new services, technology, medications, and equipment on an on-going basis. Utilizes onsite education when possible.
* Demonstrates initiative to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills required for clinic specialty, management and leadership.
* Manages time to accommodate own education.
Compliance/Safety
* Creates or edits existing policies and standard operating procedures for clinical content to reflect evidence-based practice.
* Oversees CLIA point of care testing processes.
* Reviews clinical staff for quality improvement
* Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Safety Event Reporting system; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner.
* Leads grievance and complaint investigation/resolution for clinical issues.
* Adheres to regulatory and organizational standards affecting patient care and safety as well as all system and departmental policies and procedures. Practices in a safe and cost-effective manner.
* Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the colleague’s area of responsibility.
* If required for the position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates.
* Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training in the specified time frame.
* Maintains timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, EMR entries, and patient responses.
Education
BSN or actively enrolled in BSN program with a completion date within three years from date of hire - Required MSN- Preferred
Experience
2 years recent clinical experience- Required Leadership experience - Required
Healthcare is a rapidly changing environment and technology is integrated into almost all aspects of patient care. Computers and other electronic devices are utilized across the organization and throughout each department. Colleagues must have an understanding of computers, and competence in using computers and basic software programs.
Certification & Licensures
Current, unrestricted license in the State of Arizona- Required BLS (American Heart Assoc.)- Required
NAHMG Clinic-Based Colleagues:
Fingerprint Clearance Card application number- Required upon hire
Fingerprint Clearance Card- Required within 90 days of hire
Colleagues will obtain and maintain appropriate clinical competencies for the roles assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer or designee.
