Position:                              Primary Care Physician  

 

Job Duties:

 

  1. Conduct patient interviews, examine, review medical history, medications, diet, and perform necessary diagnostic tests or examinations to render initial diagnoses and prescribe treatment. This includes admitting and managing hospitalized patients when needed.
  2. Refer patients to specialists and other appropriate healthcare facilities, ensuring all clinical information and records are shared for further care or diagnostics.
  3. Provide emergency care to stabilize patients and perform or assist with office-based procedures and treatment when referral is not required.
  4. Educate and counsel patients and families regarding prevention, early diagnosis, medications, diet, therapy plans, patient adherence and making treatment adjustments as needed.
  5. Ensure timely follow-up care and the completion of all necessary medical documentation for patients to ensure information is available for comprehensive treatment.
  6. Dictate clinical reports and correspondence concerning patients under their care to physicians, hospitals and other individuals and facilities.

 

Job Requirements:

               

Education Requirements: Doctor of Medicine, or closely related. Employer will accept foreign equivalency determination representing attainment of a level of education comparable to a first Doctor of Medicine in the U.S.

 

Experience Requirements: 24 months of experience in job offered or closely related.

 

Special skills requirements:

 

  1. Conducted comprehensive patient assessments and examinations, maintaining clear and empathetic communication with patients, families, and the health care team to ensure coordinated care.
  2. Provided total patient care that includes prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, treatment, and continuous follow-up, ensuring patients receive thorough and ongoing support.
  3. Generated accurate and detailed clinical reports and correspondence regarding patient care, effectively communicating with physicians, hospitals, and other health care professionals to
  4. ensure seamless care coordination.
  5. Performed and interpreted diagnostic tests like pap smears and EKG, to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  6. Performed in office surgical procedures such as suturing, excision and drainage, as well as skin tag removal while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
  7. Must be certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine
  8. Must have a Basic Life Support Certification from an accredited American Heart Association
  9. Must have a Controlled Substance Registration Certificate issued by the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration
  10. Must have an unrestricted Arizona Medical License

 

Salary:                                                   Available upon request

Work Schedule:                                40 hours/week
