Modality Specific * Performs radiographic procedures using both stationary and mobile radiographic equipment. * Responsible for appropriate set up of the x-ray room and manipulation of equipment, and proper placement of patient for procedure. * Ensure proper image capture of skeletal structure requested for diagnosis and treatment purposes. * Process and develops exposed x-ray film and creates x-ray CD copies for review and interpretation. |
Quality * Adheres to regulatory and organizational standards affecting patient care and safety as well as all hospital and departmental policies and procedures. * Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements, demonstrating ability to troubleshoot and notifying appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. * Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department and monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of service. |
