In addition to performing all duties of the Sterile Processing Tech I & II, the Lead Sterile Processing Tech will assist in supervising assigned shifts and staff. The Lead Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for precepting new employees, acting as a resource for the department, communicating with the Operating Room in a timely and professional manner, and supervising workflow. The Lead Sterile Processing Tech will also be asked to participate in the hiring process, evaluations, and disciplinary actions, as well as assist with employee grievances. The Lead Sterile Processing Tech may also be called upon to take SPD Supervisor duties when necessary.

The RN Oncology Services conducts the initial patient assessment, assists in the development of treatment plan, delivers care and documents any variances in patient's condition. S/he provides nursing case management functions and generates referrals for testing or to other physicians as directed. The RN assists and/or performs procedures that are within the scope of nursing practice and works as part of a multidisciplinary team and provides input to the continuity of care. S/he will be in direct contact with adult and geriatric patients and must possess the skills to care for their physical and developmental needs.

The Patient Safety Attendant under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for providing generalized support services in accordance with the Nursing Plan of Care and Medical/Surgical Standards of Care and Practice. S/he must follow all policies/procedures of Northern Arizona Healthcare. S/he performs other duties, as assigned or directed, that are within the scope and abilities of the individual's training.
