The Patient Access Admissions Counselor is responsible for the verification and collection of patient demographic and insurance information by direct data entry to the electronic medical record during the scheduling/pre-admit or admission process prior to discharge. The RN Care Manager is responsible a Registered Nurse with years of diverse nursing experience and success in managing complex situations. The RN is an expert in clinical nursing knowledge for specific populations and chronic diseases. This position requires both internal and external interface with providing care management to populations the connect with health insurance attributed lists, emergency rooms, hospitals, primary care services. The care manager functions across the care continuum, interfacing with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate the best possible clinical outcomes and optimal level of wellness with the most appropriate resource. This role is essential to the success of meeting high risk patient's needs post- discharge and preventing unnecessary readmissions. The care manager will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify, assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate options and services in meeting the needs of high risk individuals and their complex medical needs.

CHC CRS is the only multi-specialty interdisciplinary clinic (MSIC) in Northern Arizona. Our 20,000 square foot clinic is designed to provide the best patient outcomes possible. The Audiologist is responsible for audiological evaluation and intervention of neonates, infants, children, adolescents and adults on an inpatient and outpatient basis. S/he participates in the management of the Audiology Department as well as CRS/CHC patient conferences (e.g. craniofacial team), specialty clinics (e.g. ENT, plastics), patient education, and as a team member in a multi-specialty interdisciplinary clinics. S/he may also supervise audiology technicians and student volunteers as they perform basic audiology services. This position will require age-appropriate knowledge and skills which address physical and developmental needs across the lifespan.
The Security Officer provides personal safety for all persons on hospital premises. Polices hospital grounds and buildings to prevent fire, theft and vandalism. Patrols buildings and grounds and maintains current information in all security logs.

The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst is a hybrid position that is responsible for the creation, maintenance and development of all systems, applications and processes within the Revenue Cycle arena. This is a technical position, however, roughly 40% of the job entails workflow shadowing and process improvement efforts that enhance the efficiency of the department.

The Buyer is responsible for the procurement process of supplies to support the daily operations of NAH departments by processing assigned department requisition requests. This position works closely with all NAH department requestors and is focused towards efficiency, cost reduction and control, inventory reduction and supply conversions. Processes supply returns and equipment repairs. Ensures contract compliance for all purchases. Provides operational support and intelligence to NAH Managers and Directors as requested in matters of supply expense.

The practice of Occupational Therapy shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementing, education, communication and demonstration of leadership to address the needs of patients and their families as well as to foster a positive working relationship among professionals and ancillary staff. This person may be caring for infants, children, adolescents and/or senior patients and will have the knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of these populations. The Occupational Therapist will practice within defined standards of care and direct the practice of support staff in order to achieve the patient's functional goals. S/he is expected to communicate effectively with other professional and support staff in order to promote a positive, problem-solving environment.
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) Clinic, under the supervision of the Practice Supervisor or Manager, nurse, therapist, lead or Director, is responsible for assisting in patient care, documentation and supply management in the clinic or outpatient department. S/he may collaborate with the Medical Assistant to support the provider(s) in providing patient care.
The PCT Clinic will also work to keep the unit supplied, clean, and organized. The PCT Clinic may function in an office assistant role within the clinic and/or department and answers the telephone, answers questions within their capabilities the patient or their support individuals may have. S/he follows all policies and procedures of Northern Arizona Healthcare. They perform or assist with procedures that fall within the scope of practice of a PCT in addition to office assistant duties. The PCT Clinic may be caring for infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics populations.
Under general supervision of the provider, the Medical Assistant (MA) Certified works with members of the departmental health care team to provide assistance to providers, patients, and their families ensuring smooth work and patient flow. The MA Certified, under the supervision of the provider, is responsible for conducting initial and on-going assessments of the patient and working with the provider on their procedures and/or exams. This includes but is not limited to, reviewing the patient medical record and conducting per-visit interview with patient, documenting medical history and assessing need for referrals and prescription renewals. The MA Certified also assists in the coordination of clerical information to provide patient care and assists with patient follow up.
In Community Care Management, the MA also assists in following up with health management/care plans with both patients and providers. The MA works closely with medical providers, primary care teams and other agencies to improve communication, services, patient care and outcomes.

As a member of the team, this position will also perform a variety of clerical duties, while providing assistance to patients, technologists and radiologists. This position demonstrates excellent communication skills and effectively works with a multidisciplinary staff, patients, and their caregivers.

Ensuring the achievement of Northern Arizona Healthcare’s mission, the Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of care for patients and their families including direct care, patient and family education and discharge planning. The Medical Scribe, working within a clinical practice, will assist physicians with their nonclinical duties. S/he will extemporaneously transcribe the patient’s medical record for the physician, assist the physician in retrieving old medical records, lab results, and radiology results. The Medical Scribe assists the provider with other clerical operations that would support his/her function and efficiency in non-clinical patient care.
