The practice of Physical Therapy shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementing, education, communication and demonstration of leadership to address the needs of patients and their families as well as to foster a positive working relationship among professionals and ancillary staff. This person may be caring for infants, children, adolescents and/or senior patients and will have the knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of these populations. ****Testing for EMT and Paramedic positions is scheduled for May 11, 2024   The Emergency Medical Care Technician - Paramedic (EMCT-P) provides basic and advanced life support to the ill or injured patient(s) in the pre-hospital setting. S/he is expected to operate independently as well as assist their Paramedic or EMT partner(s) in assessing and treating the critically ill or injured patient and will be expected to work within their scope of practice. This position may provide care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. This position is responsible for operating hydraulic gurneys and power lifts, emergency and non-emergency ambulance driving, and the use of portable ambulance medical equipment.

The Endoscopy Technician, under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and Charge RN or Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for preparing supplies and equipment for interventions, using appropriate techniques. The Endoscopy Technician assists and/or performs patient procedures that are within the scope of their unit specific Skills Summation. S/he seeks assistance and support when necessary, assists in data collection, organizes those aspects of patient care for which s/he is responsible, and maintains accountability for own practice and those functions delegated to the Endoscopy Technician. Within a specified work period, provides care that is consistent with overall admission to post-discharge plan.

Under general supervision of the provider, the Medical Assistant (MA) Certified works with members of the departmental health care team to provide assistance to providers, patients, and their families ensuring smooth work and patient flow. The MA Certified, under the supervision of the provider, is responsible for conducting initial and on-going assessments of the patient and working with the provider on their procedures and/or exams. This includes but is not limited to, reviewing the patient medical record and conducting per-visit interview with patient, documenting medical history and assessing need for referrals and prescription renewals. The Multi-Modality Respiratory Care Practitioner positions applies fundamental techniques of respiratory therapy to patients in a variety of health care settings. Able to perform basic respiratory care procedures on newborns, pediatrics and adults.   Respiratory Care Practitioner CRT assists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients who have pulmonary disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. May collect blood samples, conduct tests, measure lung capacities and determine the levels of gases, such as oxygen and carbon dioxide within patients lungs.   Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT treats patients with pulmonary disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. The RRT meets with patients, diagnoses ailments, designs treatment plans and conducts tests to assess lung capacity and gas levels.   Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner treats patients with pulmonary disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. The Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner meets with patients, diagnoses ailments, designs treatment plans and conducts tests to assess lung capacity and gas levels. The Senior Respiratory Respiratory Care Practitioner will have at least one specialty credential such as Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS).

This position's primary and majority of responsibilities is focused surgical scheduling and chart audits, determining billable procedures, supplies and implants and enters charges in support of accurate billing. This position is responsible for surgical scheduling and is responsible for the verification and collection of patient demographic and procedural information by direct data entry to the Cerner Scheduling systems. This position liaisons with provider/surgeon offices to secure information specific to the requested services, accurately documenting the data in the encounter database, schedule book and iQueue software. This role also performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties and support for the department, providers, staff and the director.
