The Cardiovascular Technician performs interventional cardiology, vascular, electrophysiology, and hybrid operating room procedures.
This position assists in the planning of the daily operational, financial, leadership and/or clinical support to patients, staff, manager and director within the department. This position supervises employees and participates in selection, orientation, evaluation and staff scheduling when delegated by manager.

The Outpatient Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care, supervises support staff, and participates in dispensing activities, adverse drug reaction monitoring, drug information and patient education. This person may provide pharmacy services to patients from neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. This person will have knowledge of the skills to care for the pharmacy needs of these populations. Pharmacists will have oversight responsibility when non-licensed staff handle non-controlled substances.
Northern Arizona Healthcare is a 270 bed community hospital with a Level 1 Trauma Center designation. The pharmacy is a 24 hour, fully computerized department with integrated lab/pharmacy/charting systems, automated dispensing, box picker, and computerized physician order entry. Pharmacists rotate through central dispensing as well as decentralized clinical areas including medical-surgical, total joint, behavioral health, pediatrics, woman and infant, surgery, and critical care. Responsibilities include a pharmacokinetic dosing consult service, total parenteral nutrition management, antimicrobial stewardship, renal dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, pharmacotherapy recommendations, drug information, and direct patient education including warfarin and enoxaparin teaching. Pharmacists are also involved in quality improvement and clinical projects. Pharmacists are active members of the patient care team. Emphasis is placed on ensuring patients receive optimal, safe, and cost-effective medication therapy by applying an evidenced-based approach to improve overall patient care, providing pharmacy services to patients from neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups.

The Computed Tomography Technologist performs computerized tomographic scans according to established standards. Provides basic patient care, explains standard procedures and answers patient questions, maintains equipment, transports patients and prepares and maintains documentation.

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the collection and receipt of specimens, proper entry into the LIS computer, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and the distribution of specimens to the analytical testing areas. Responsible for arranging daily activities based on urgency of requests. This position is also responsible for point of care testing as assigned, and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures. The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the clerical aspects of post analytical testing and interacting with others using a variety of communication tools. Must handle bio-hazardous and infectious material while following universal precautions and OSHA guidelines.
This position is located in NAH Laboratory Departments only and not in NAH Medical Group Primary Care/Family Practice Clinics.

The Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist performs imaging procedures in a minimum of 2 or 3 modalities shown below. This position provides basic patient care, maintains equipment, transports patients, and prepares and maintains documentation.
Radiology Technologist Multimodality 1 provides imaging in any 2 modalities of the following: Diagnostic/Xray, CT, Mammography.
Radiology Technologist Multimodality 2 provides imaging in any 3 of the following: Diagnostic/Xray, Mammography, CT; or MRI with 1 or 2 of Diagnostic/Xrray, CT and/or Mammography.

The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for the management, on-going development, implementation, coordination and documentation of NAH risk reduction programs, error prevention, and assist with claims management. S/he is available for ethics committee consultation, educational programs, and complying with risk management related standards as determined by CMS and other regulatory agencies, in support of controlling and minimizing the loss in protection of system assets. The Clinical Manager integrates data and complex systems analysis, risk management education, and assists with administration of the insurance program. The Clinical Risk Manager partners closely with Patient Safety, Patient Relations, the Malpractice Claims Manager, and Legal in response to risk and safety events, including near misses. The Clinical Risk Manager is available to support NAH colleagues, including physicians and other clinicians, in in-the-moment responses to risk events, disclosures of unanticipated outcomes to patients and families, and resolving questions or concerns prior to and during treatment at an NAH facility.

The RN Cath Lab, under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and or Charge RN/ Cath lab lead designee, conducts initial and on-going assessments, develops the patient plan of care through the use of Clinical Pathways, directs and delivers patient care, patient and family education, identifies and corrects variances from the patient's Clinical Pathway, and completes discharge planning. S/he will care for adults and geriatric patient groups.
