The Medical Office Receptionist undertakes a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks to ensure that office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. The Medical Office Receptionist obtains insurance information, collects payments and works with the scheduling system as well as acts as an interdepartmental staff liaison between staff, providers and customers to ensure professional service and promote customer relations. The clinical Educator/Unit Based Educator, under the supervision of their manager and/or Director and in collaboration with the specialty department leadership teams, is responsible for facilitating educational courses for internal and external customers. The education programs and other educational initiatives will be based on current evidence based/research (EBP) and incorporating guidelines. This role will support the education department based on specialty units/departments by facilitating education opportunities and onboarding processes through mentoring, EBP, ANCC, research, quality, and process improvement to improve patient satisfaction, colleague engagement, healthy work environment, standard processes, patient safety, patient outcomes, and cost savings strategies.
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the verification and collection of patient demographic and insurance information by direct data entry to the electronic medical record during the scheduling/pre-admit or admission process prior to discharge. S/he conducts an interview with the patient or authorized representative to secure information specific to requested services; accurately documenting the discussion and other registration/scheduling activities in the encounter.
The Director of Emergency Services provides leadership/management oversight responsibilities for the Emergency Department, Observation Unit, Safe Child Program, Trauma Services and Pre-Hospital Department to provide quality patient care in an emergent and urgent situations.
The position requires 24 hours/day 7 days/week responsibility.

The Telemetry Monitor Technician, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Director, and Clinical Manager, is responsible for conducting and documenting on-going observations of patient cardiac rhythms.
The Community Care Coach (CCC) will primarily be working out in the community with specific target populations, teaching the necessary tools for patients to properly navigate the healthcare system, encouraging the adoption of habits that are conducive to a higher quality of life, and implementing programs designed to increase overall health. The CCC will work under the guidance of the RN or SW to conduct and document biometric screenings, help patients/clients in utilizing resources and accessing health related services, coach patients/clients in effective management of health conditions, and will assist in following up with health management/care plans with both patients and providers. The CCC will work closely with medical providers, primary care teams, and other agencies to improve communication, services, patient care, and outcomes.

The Quality Outcomes RN supports Flagstaff Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center to provide safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient and equitable care through continuous monitoring of key metrics and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities of the role include chart abstraction, data submission for external reporting, concurrent and retrospective review of assigned metrics, maintaining registry databases, clinical case review of harm events, supporting daily triage of reported safety events, and conducting performance improvement activities. The Quality Outcomes RN leads and/or participates in committees as assigned and conducts rounding on nursing units to support key patient safety or compliance initiatives.
