The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in both diagnostic studies and therapeutic treatments and creates diagnostic images according to established standards. The PCT, including all hospital units and departments and the Float/Flex Pool PCT, under the supervision of the charge nurse, clinical manager, and/or director, is responsible for assisting in patient care, documentation and supply management. PCTs keep the unit supplied, clean, and organized. Additionally, the PCT may function in an office assistant role and answer the telephone, answer questions within their capabilities the patient or their support individuals may have, and perform data entry and data collection.
The PCT in the discharge unit is for assisting discharged patients, coordinating discharge logistics and assisting patients in utilizing resources and accessing health related services.
That Water Treatment Specialist is responsible for monitoring and managing critical and process water systems as part of the overall water management program at NAH. This includes collecting and examining water samples for physical, chemical, and biological parameters, altering the dosage of chemicals to disinfect and clarify the water, operating and maintaining pumps, valves, filters, clarifiers, and other equipment and instruments associated with these systems. Additionally, they must document and report data on water quality, flow, pressure, and consumption. They must also diagnose any issues or defects in the water treatment system and adhere to safety protocols to avoid accidents or environmental hazards.
