The practice of Physical Therapy shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementing, education, communication and demonstration of leadership to address the needs of patients and their families as well as to foster a positive working relationship among professionals and ancillary staff. The Physical Therapist will have the knowledge and skill to care for the physical and developmental needs for patients. The Physical Therapist will practice within defined standards of care and direct the practice of support staff in order to achieve the patient's functional and discharge goals. S/he is expected to communicate effectively with other professional and support staff in order to promote a positive, problem-solving environment.
Ensuring the achievement of Northern Arizona Healthcare’s mission, the Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of care for patients and their families including direct care, patient and family education and discharge planning. When providing care, Registered Nurses follow the process of assessing, nursing diagnosing, outcome identification, planning, implementing and evaluation as the basis for the delivery of care. The Nurse Education Specialist functions in a point-of-care, hands-on role as a nurse expert, educator, and consultant for assigned departments in the clinical development and education of nursing and other NAH team members. This position provides educational support for organizational safety and improvement initiatives. Nurse Education Specialist works in partnership with leadership to support onboarding, staff development, and promotion of practice excellence. The Nurse Education Specialist also functions to aid in preparation for regulatory and accreditation reviews.
Directs and monitors personnel in the performance of the anatomic pathology departmental duties ensuring quality work and timely completion in accordance with laboratory/hospital protocol and regulatory standards. Supervises and provides direction for staff and department regarding daily operations, human resource management, and financial stewardship.
