The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the verification and collection of patient demographic and insurance information by direct data entry to the electronic medical record during the scheduling/pre-admit or admission process prior to discharge. S/he conducts an interview with the patient or authorized representative to secure information specific to requested services; accurately documenting the discussion and other registration/scheduling activities in the encounter.

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the collection and receipt of specimens, proper entry into the LIS computer, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and the distribution of specimens to the analytical testing areas. Responsible for arranging daily activities based on urgency of requests. This position is also responsible for point of care testing as assigned, and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures.   The Radiation Therapist is responsible for the daily management and delivery of radiation therapy using record and verify systems for various treatment techniques. Under the direction of the Lead Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist, and Chief Medical Radiation Physicist or Medical Radiation Physicist, administers radiation treatment according to department policies and procedures. S/he works as part of a multidisciplinary team and provides input to the continuity of care.
