The Diagnostic/Xray Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures using stationary and mobile radiographic equipment according to established standards. This position provides basic patient care, processes films, maintains equipment, transports patients and prepares and maintains documentation.   Diagnostic/Xray Technologist 1 works in the following environments predominately: outpatient, pain/palliative care, children's health, orthopedics, portable and inpatient, and may work in less than three of the following: fluro, o-arm, trauma, operating room and dexascan.   Diagnostic/Xray Technologist 2 works in three or more of the following environments predominately: fluro, o-arm, trauma, operating room and dexascan; and may work also in outpatient, pain/palliative care, children's health, orthopedics, portable and inpatient. This position's work location is on-site only.
