The Communication Specialist/Technician, under the supervision of the Communication Center Supervisor, is responsible for the coordination of air and ground transports, office/clerical tasks, and preliminary billing tasks. Overall communications are via phone, radio, verbal, text and written word. The Communication Specialist/Technician will be able to think and function independently as well as project a positive image as a customer representative at all times.
The Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) provides basic life support to the ill or injured patient in the pre-hospital setting. Patient care is provided in accordance with the rules and regulations approved by federal, state, regional, and local authorities. This position may provide care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This person will have knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs across the life span. This position is responsible for operating hydraulic gurneys and power lifts, emergency and non-emergency ambulance driving, and the use of portable ambulance medical equipment.

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the verification and collection of patient demographic and insurance information by direct data entry to the electronic medical record during the scheduling/pre-admit or admission process prior to discharge. S/he conducts an interview with the patient or authorized representative to secure information specific to requested services; accurately documenting the discussion and other registration/scheduling activities in the encounter.
The Greeter acts as a receptionist at the entrance desks and promotes a customer service focus at all times while greeting our customers. The Greeter will evaluate the location within the hospital or facility that the customer will be visiting, and will provide a visitor badge for the customer to wear while on campus.
The Cardiovascular Technician performs interventional cardiology, vascular, electrophysiology, and hybrid operating room procedures.
The Taylor House Hospitality Staff manages all aspects of operations of the Taylor House. S/he maintains the occupancy and revenue standards and is responsible for the safety of the building with up to 68 registered guests.
The Director of Financial Operations, Controller is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of accounting processes, controls and reports. S/he oversees General Accounting functions, as well as Accounts Payable and Payroll, and maintains policies and procedures. The Director manages the department staff and develops department specific capital and operational budgets. S/he facilitates and coordinates activities in preparation for periodic audits by external organizations and acts as immediate contact with organization's independent external auditors on accounting matters.
The Radiology Technologist Per Diem performs imaging procedures and provides basic patient care, explains standard procedures, answers patient questions, prepares and maintains equipment, transports patients, and prepares and maintains documentation. This is a non-budgeted position with a minimum hours requirement of 80 hours per 8 week schedule with at least 48 hours worked on the weekend and/or on night shift, unless the only need is on day shift. Holiday, Float, Call and Low Census requirements are as specified in the NAH Imaging Department Per Diem Pool Agreement.

The House Supervisor assumes administrative responsibility for all hospital services during all shifts, makes decisions in the best interest of our patients and reports critical incidents to the Senior Administrator On Call. The Nurse Resident is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Nurse Residents will be under the direct supervision of a preceptor for all principal duties and responsibilities during the training program with eventual transition to independent practice after successful training program completion. Upon completion of the yearlong (12 months) nurse resident program the nurse resident will transition to the RN job description.
The Medical Scribe, working within a clinical practice, will assist physicians with their nonclinical duties. S/he will extemporaneously transcribe the patient’s medical record for the physician, assist the physician in retrieving old medical records, lab results, and radiology results. The Medical Scribe assists the provider with other clerical operations that would support his/her function and efficiency in non-clinical patient care.
The Patient Access Lead may provide support and assistance for internal department training of new staff for all registration, scheduling, and patient financial activities under direction of Supervisor/Manager. Provides support during staff shortages for all shifts and serves as an active working member of the assigned department area. Acts as an expert resource to coordinate and communicate with hospital or associated clinical area on issues related to the patient access process with escalation to management as appropriate.
The Lead Interventional Technologist functions collaboratively with the radiologist and other staff such as nurses, fellow interventional technologists, and physicians to provide support for interventional and other diagnostic procedures within Medical Imaging. The technologist provides quality care to a wide variety of patients in a safe manner. In addition to the clinical responsibilities within IR, the interventional technologist may be required to support other modalities like CT, X-Ray or surgery as needed. This individual is also responsible for administrative duties such as updating procedure manuals, protocols, quality control testing, and assisting with staff scheduling as needed.
The Lead IR Technologist position is responsible for providing all aspects of the IR Technologist as well as providing leadership to IR staff members.

The RN Care Manager is responsible a Registered Nurse with years of diverse nursing experience and success in managing complex situations. The RN is an expert in clinical nursing knowledge for specific populations and chronic diseases. This position requires both internal and external interface with providing care management to populations the connect with health insurance attributed lists, emergency rooms, hospitals, primary care services. The care manager functions across the care continuum, interfacing with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate the best possible clinical outcomes and optimal level of wellness with the most appropriate resource. This role is essential to the success of meeting high risk patient's needs post- discharge and preventing unnecessary readmissions. The care manager will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify, assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate options and services in meeting the needs of high risk individuals and their complex medical needs.

The Audiologist is responsible for audiological evaluation and intervention of neonates, infants, children, adolescents and adults on an inpatient and outpatient basis. S/he participates in the management of the Audiology Department as well as CRS/CHC patient conferences (e.g. craniofacial team), specialty clinics (e.g. ENT, plastics), patient education, and as a team member in a multi-specialty interdisciplinary clinics. S/he may also supervise audiology technicians and student volunteers as they perform basic audiology services. This position will require age-appropriate knowledge and skills which address physical and developmental needs across the lifespan.

The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst is a hybrid position that is responsible for the creation, maintenance and development of all systems, applications and processes within the Revenue Cycle arena. This is a technical position, however, roughly 40% of the job entails workflow shadowing and process improvement efforts that enhance the efficiency of the department.
*May include CDM system management and maintenance; inclusive of the ensuring the Charge Description Master (CDM) is in compliance with hospital coding procedure, departmental processes, and payer regulations; reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the proper care and handling of all general and specialty surgical instrumentation which includes cleaning, decontamination, identification, assembly, troubleshooting, packaging, distribution, and sterilization.
