S/he works as part of a multidisciplinary team and provides input to the continuity of care.
The Anesthesia Technician l assists with daily anesthesia needs hospital wide. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: daily morning anesthesia machine check outs, room turnovers between cases, patient transport and maintaining anesthesia stock throughout the house-wide anesthesia cluster. Anesthesia Technician l has knowledge of all anesthesia equipment and tools and is responsible for delivering all necessary equipment to anesthesia providers house-wide.
This position requires successful completion of a competency-based training program for BLS certfication before performing patient transport duties.
