The Multimedia Specialist, part of the Content & Creative team within the NAH Communications Department, will directly and indirectly support development, production, editing, and delivery of various multimedia products as well as providing support to the Internal, External, and Digital Communications Teams. They are responsible for bringing NAH stories to life, working closely with the Sr. Visual Communications Specialist and Graphic Designer, under the supervision of the Creative Director; capturing NAH’s Missions, Vision and Values through effective, timely, relevant multimedia content; making information more engaging throughout NAH’s print and digital presence; and acting as an ambassador for NAH’s brand.
The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the collection and receipt of specimens, proper entry into the LIS computer, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and the distribution of specimens to the analytical testing areas. Responsible for arranging daily activities based on urgency of requests. This position is also responsible for point of care testing as assigned, and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures. The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the clerical aspects of post analytical testing and interacting with others using a variety of communication tools. Must handle bio-hazardous and infectious material while following universal precautions and OSHA guidelines.
This position is located in NAH Laboratory Departments only and not in NAH Medical Group Primary Care/Family Practice Clinics.

The Nutrition Assistant collaborates with both nutrition staff and hospital staff to provide optimal care and wellness to patients, staff, and visitors of Northern Arizona Healthcare. This position works with the Clinical Dietitans, and Cooks, by preparing food for patients, visitors, and staff using menus, recipes, production sheets, tally sheets, cooking equipment, cooking methods, and using safe food handling techniques to help provide optimal nutritional care and wellness.S/he ensures that food production is of high quality and that all foods are prepared, cooked, and served in accordance with specified recipes and procedures. S/he maintains and carries out all NAH policies and procedures and ensures compliance with all CMS, County and other applicable regulatory agencies. The Nutrition Assistant participates in dish room actities, cahsiering, call center, and positions on the patient tray line.He os she may participate in training new staff, assisting with schedules for staff. The Nutrition Assistant must know the electronic patient menu system and take room service meal orders in the call center following dietary guidelines and protocols.
The practice of Speech Therapy shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementing, education, communication and demonstration of leadership to address the needs of patients and their families as well as to foster a positive working relationship among professionals and ancillary staff. This person may be caring for infants, children, adolescents and/or senior patients and will have the knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of these populations. The Speech Therapist will practice within defined standards of care and direct the practice of support staff in order to achieve the patient's functional goals.

Provides direct support for the IT applications and supports the effective and efficient use of computing resources and facilitate client workflows. May participate in project initiatives, planning activities, and collaborate with other Analysts.

Under the direction of Leadership, the IT Applications Developer is engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which includes the design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and maintenance of NAH’s ITSM software. IT Applications Developer will participate in design meetings and consult with business clients to refine, test, and debug programs to meet business needs. This position will interact and direct third-party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives.
The IT Applications Developer will understand software architectural standards and design principles. Must be able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team. This role necessitates a higher level of creativity and innovative thinking resulting in advanced customer solutions. The position requires the candidate to work closely with key client stakeholders and senior technology leaders.
Demonstrates fundamental programming skills for the development, manipulation and/or implementation of source code for new and existing applications.
In addition to performing all duties of the Sterile Processing Tech I & II, the Lead Sterile Processing Tech will assist in supervising assigned shifts and staff. The Lead Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for precepting new employees, acting as a resource for the department, communicating with the Operating Room in a timely and professional manner, and supervising workflow. The Lead Sterile Processing Tech will also be asked to participate in the hiring process, evaluations, and disciplinary actions, as well as assist with employee grievances. The Lead Sterile Processing Tech may also be called upon to take SPD Supervisor duties when necessary.

The Patient Access Lead may provide support and assistance for internal department training of new staff for all registration, scheduling, and patient financial activities under direction of Supervisor/Manager. Provides support during staff shortages for all shifts and serves as an active working member of the assigned department area. Acts as an expert resource to coordinate and communicate with hospital or associated clinical area on issues related to the patient access process with escalation to management as appropriate.
The RN Oncology Services conducts the initial patient assessment, assists in the development of treatment plan, delivers care and documents any variances in patient's condition. S/he provides nursing case management functions and generates referrals for testing or to other physicians as directed. The RN assists and/or performs procedures that are within the scope of nursing practice and works as part of a multidisciplinary team and provides input to the continuity of care. S/he will be in direct contact with adult and geriatric patients and must possess the skills to care for their physical and developmental needs.
Under general supervision of the provider, the Medical Assistant (MA) Certified works with members of the departmental health care team to provide assistance to providers, patients, and their families ensuring smooth work and patient flow. The MA Certified, under the supervision of the provider, is responsible for conducting initial and on-going assessments of the patient and working with the provider on their procedures and/or exams. This includes but is not limited to, reviewing the patient medical record and conducting per-visit interview with patient, documenting medical history and assessing need for referrals and prescription renewals. The MA Certified also assists in the coordination of clerical information to provide patient care and assists with patient follow up.
In Community Care Management, the MA also assists in following up with health management/care plans with both patients and providers. The MA works closely with medical providers, primary care teams and other agencies to improve communication, services, patient care and outcomes.
